You need teach your horse to be comfortable and relaxed, whether it has a high level of tolerance or is more sensitive.

The quality of life for both will improve as soon as you do this. It's about being their coach and teaching them that they can refocus their attention on their body, be aware of the tensions they hold, and relax them as soon as they notice.

It's about having an impact on the nervous system, much like we humans do when practicing Yoga and cultivating body awareness.

Actually, horses adopt the relaxing mode much faster than we do when taught. They empower themselves, move out of a survival mode, and can enjoy an enhanced conscious life with humans.

Why?

Because your horse probably never really learned to be in a human environment using nothing but its natural instinct, which is to fight or flight.

Even if it seems fine with you riding, teaching it dressage or jumping, if it hasn't learned to relax on its own with all the human stimuli around, there will be gaps where it will overreact in some situations or holds stress and tension in its body without you noticing.

As a sport horse, it needs to be taught how to deal with the pressures that belongs to human environment.

  • To release tensions, fear, or stiffness in your horse resulting from conscious or unconscious stress, you need guidance to implement clear, easy, but very precise exercises.

    For you to overcome your horse’s tension, spookiness, or stiffness resulting from conscious or unconscious stress, you need to be guided through to implement clear, easy, but very precise exercises. You need to re-build the foundations, starting from the ground work. Your horse will then know what you expect from him, respond better as he will feel pleasant sensations in his body. Additionally, this ground work will help him improve his coordination pattern for better health and balance, even when you are not training.

  • Based on Tristan Tucker's method, we will work together with three pillars:

    • Spacial awareness
    • Body awareness
    • Moving the front and hindquarters separately and then combining them into a coordinated cyclical movement

    From there, we can introduce the four stimuli that activate the flight instinct (Noise, movement, approach, touch), in order to teach your horse that it has the opportunity to control its own level of tension and choose to relax.

    And two axial lines:

    • Accuracy of the execution
    • Observation of the horse's responses. These will be in terms of coordination, behaviour, and confidence in its abilities.

    I'll be here to assess, adjust, and guide. You will also participate, as you will repeat the exercises every day for a short period before riding, to create the desired long-term transformation.

  • • An assessment at the stable or through a form, evaluating current difficulties.
    • 6 in-person or live video coaching sessions, using Pivo, Pixem, or Whatsapp (with the help of a friend), each lasting approximately 1 hour.

    A periodicity of twice a week over 3 weeks is ideal. Spacing over the sessions would quickly become ineffective (minimum once a week).

    INVESTMENT: €360 (Valid for 2 months)

    But before committing: We can start with 2 sessions to see how comfortable we feel working together before committing to the full course. Investment: €130
